Demetris’ experience includes being Executive Director and Head of Portfolio Management at Hanseatic Capital Management, as well as Head of Asset Management and Private Banking at at Alpha Bank Ltd. He also worked as the CFO of a major local trading and real estate company. He started his career in the USA at Emerging Markets Management LLC, initially as an analyst and later as Portfolio Manager for equity and private equity portfolios.

Demetris holds a bachelor’s degree in finance & economics and an MBA in International Finance, both from the American University, Kogod School of Business in Washington, DC. He is a CFA Charterholder and a holder of the Certificate in Company Direction by the U.K. Institute of Directors (IoD). He is also a Certified Trainer by the HRDA and a holder of CySEC’s Advanced Certification.
